Kyung-gi province has decided to enforce the supervision of Tuberculosis starting this year by running a Tuberculosis supervision demonstration project for foreigners. According to Kyung-gi Tuberculosis supervision comprehensive countermeasures in 2015, the demonstration project will first start in An-san where the majority of foreigners live in. Tuberculosis prevention education and Dormant Tuberculosis infection examination for high school freshmen will start from the second half of this year, For this, last year's Tuberculosis prevention project budget which was 5.2 billion won has gone up to 6.8billion won and positioned 16 more nurses in health centers and medical organizations. Kyung-gi has given the authority to Korea Tuberculosis Association branch affiliated medical center to play the role of Tuberculosis supervision control tower. The rate of Tuberculosis patients are decreasing compared to 2012-7818 people, 2013-7523 people and 2014 -7241 people.

[글로벌코리아]경기도, 안산 거주 외국인대상 결핵관리시범사업

경기도가 올해부터 외국인 결핵관리 시범사업을 하는 등 결핵관리를 강화하기로 했다.

'2015 경기도 결핵관리 종합대책'에 따르면 외국인이 가장 많이 거주하는 안산시에서 외국인 결핵관리 시범사업을 진행한다.

도내 거주 외국인 49만여명 가운데 결핵환자는 773명(2014년 말 기준)으로 파악된다.

도는 안산지역 외국인을 대상으로 결핵 교육, 취업전 조기검진, 결핵환자 발생 사업장 근로자 전수 결핵검진을 올해 말까지 진행할 예정이다.

또 올 하반기부터 도내 고등학교 1학년을 대상으로 결핵예방교육과 희망자에 한해 잠복결핵감염검진을 한다.

이같은 결핵관리 사업을 위해 지난해 52억원이던 결핵예방사업비를 올해 68억원으로 늘리고, 보건소와 의료기관에 간호사 16명을 추가로 확보했다.

경기도는 결핵관리 컨트롤타워 역할을 오는 7월 개소하는 대한결핵협회 경기도지부 부속의원에 맡겼다. 경기도 결핵 환자 발생은 2012년 7818명, 2013년 7523명, 2014년 7241명으로 소폭 감소하고 있다.
