Ministry of Employment and Labor has announced on the 18th that they will start receiving New Foreign laborers employment warrant for those working in manufacturing business, Fishing business, Construction business and Service Business

Business owners who wish to recruit employees can visit their nearest Recruit Center or send the registration form at www.eps.go.kr.

The disposition of new foreign laborers this year will be made in January, April, July and October for manufacturing business, January and April for farming, livestock and Fishing business, January and April for construction and service business according to the decision made last year by Foreign labor force policy committee.

Evaluation is made by applying point system. This system is applied in manufacturing business, fishing business, construction business and service business. Higher points are given depending on the following conditions. Lower foreign laborer employment rate than the permitted limit, More re-employment rate compared to the recruitment of foreign laborers, Lower rate of new applicants, More native Korean employment rate during the recruitment period.

The disposition of the new foreign labor force will be announced on April 24th at 3 through text message and it can also be checked online at EPS homepage.

According to the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the inflow of foreign laborers (with E-9 visa) will be 2000 more that last year which is 55,000 people. Manufacturing business has 42,400 people ranking number 1, 6000 in Farming and livestock business and 2300 in the fishing business.

[글로벌 코리아]신규 외국인력 고용허가서 발급 신청 접수

고용노동부는 제조업·농축산업·어업·건설업·서비스업 분야 신규 외국인력 고용허가서 발급 신청서를 다음달 1∼14일 접수한다고 18일 공고했다.

인력 충원을 원하는 사업주들은 이 기간에 관할 고용센터를 방문하거나 인터넷(www.eps.go.kr)을 통해 신청서를 낼 수 있다.

올해 신규 외국인력 배정은 작년 말 외국인력정책위원회의 결정에 따라 제조업은 1월·4월·7월·10월, 농축산업과 어업은 1월·4월, 건설업과 서비스업은 1월·4월에 하도록 정했다.

점수제에 따라 제조업과 농축산업·어업·건설업·서비스업 모두 ▲외국인고용 허용인원 대비 실제 고용 외국인이 적을수록 ▲외국인 고용인원 대비 재고용 만료자가 많을수록 ▲신규 고용 신청인원이 적을수록 ▲내국인 구인노력 기간에 고용센터가 알선한 내국인 고용이 많을수록 높은 점수를 준다.

신규 외국인력 배정 결과 발표는 4월 24일 오후 3시 휴대전화 문자메시지로 신청자에게 통보되며 EPS 홈페이지에서도 확인할 수 있다.

고용노동부는 신규 외국인력 고용허가서 발급신청서를 접수하기 전에 반드시 내국인 구인 노력을 해야 한다고 강조했다.

고용노동부에 따르면 올해 외국인근로자(E-9 비자) 유입 규모는 5만5000명으로 지난해보다 2000명 증가했다. 업종별로는 제조업이 4만2400명으로 가장 많고 농축산업 6000명, 어업 2300명 수준이다.
