[글로벌 코리아]세계유산 남한산성 외국인 관광객 대상 해설사 양성



경기문화재단 남한산성세계유산센터는 세계유산 남한산성을 방문하는 외국인들에게 남한산성의 가치를 설명하고 안내할 원어민으로 구성된 외국인해설사 양성과정 개강식을 11일 열었다.

이번 양성과정 수강생은 성남시외국인주민지원센터와 연계해 성남시에 거주하고 평소에 남한산성을 사랑하고 역사에 관심이 많은 외국인 중에서 선발했다.

언어는 영어, 일본어, 중국어를 모국어로 하되 한국어에도 능숙한 외국인 10명을 선발했다. 추후 다른 언어 해설사도 추가해 교육할 계획이다.

외국인해설사 양성과정은 총 8강으로 남한산성 문화재를 답사하는 현장교육과 역사 등 이론을 공부하는 실내교육으로 이뤄졌다. 해설사들이 직접 사용할 언어별 해설집도 같이 제작할 예정이다.

향후 외국인해설사 양성과정을 2달 동안 수료한 외국인 중 해설능력 검증을 통과한 해설사는 5월부터 남한산성 성곽과 행궁에 배치돼 남한산성 외국어해설사로 활동하게 된다.

센터 관계자는 "국내에서 문화유산을 직접 외국인이 모국어로 해설안내를 하는 사례는 남한산성이 최초로 외국인들에게 더욱 쉽고 가깝게 남한산성을 느끼고 갈 좋은 모델을 제시할 것으로 기대된다"고 말했다.

Training foreign commentator for tourists visiting Nam-Han mountain fortress world heritage.

Kyung-gi do culture foundation Nam-Han mountain fortress world heritage center has opened a foreign commentator training course on the 11th to help tourists from other country know the value of this National heritage.

The trainees are connected with Sung Nam Foreign citizen support center and chosen among those living in Sung Nam and who loves and have interest in Nam-Han mountain fortress s well as hisory.10 native speakers from the U.S, China and Japan who speak Korean as well are chosen. Commentators of other languages are to be selected in the near future. Foreign commentator trainee course is held inside a classroom and has a total of 8 lectures and the studies include the history and theories regarding Nam-Han mountain fortress field education and its history. The booklets to be used by the commentators are to be made and published as well. The commentator trainees who have proven their commentating skills after completing 2 month course of Foreign commentator trainee course, will be positioned at the fortress and the temproary palace and start officially. This is the first time where native speakers from other countries are commentating and guiding and they are expected to be a good model for everyone to see and enjoy Nam-Han mountain fortress.
