대학 동아리부터 조기 축구회, 부부 등 서울시민이라면 누구나 참가해 기량을 겨룰 수 있는 생활체육 서울시민리그가 다음 달 열린다.

11월까지 8개월간 진행되는 이번 서울 시민리그는 25개 자치구 단위 지역 리그, 본선 토너먼트, 최종 챔피언전 순으로 진행된다.

종목은 축구, 3대 3 농구, 탁구 등 3가지다.

시는 홈페이지(www.sleague.or.kr)를 통해 18일부터 31일까지 참가자를 모집한다.

종목별로 참가 연령과 선수 경력 제한이 있을 수 있고, 참가 팀당 1만∼5만원의 참가비를 내야 한다.

60대 이상이 참가하는 탁구 종목은 팩스(☎ 02-380-8899) 또는 우편(서울시 생활체육회, 문의 ☎ 02-380-8822) 접수도 병행한다.

서울시민리그는 기존 생활체육단체에 가입하지 않았더라도 동호회, 가족 등 팀 단위로 누구나 출전할 수 있다. 또 주말이나 주중 야간에 집 근처 체육시설에서 경기가 진행돼 직장인도 참여할 수 있다.

지역리그는 참가한 모든 팀이 적어도 한 번 이상 대전하는 '풀리그 방식'으로 진행된다. 경기당 승점 합산을 통한 각 종목의 1위 팀이 본선 토너먼트에 진출하게 된다. 특히 본선 토너먼트와 챔피언전은 상암월드컵경기장 등 프로 선수들이 뛰는 대형 경기장에서 펼쳐진다.

Seoul Citizens' Sports League opening next month…soccer·table tennis·basketball and general sports.

Any Seoul citizens from university sports clubs, amateur soccer clubs or oven couples who love sports, can participate in the Seoul citizens' sports league and show what they've got. The competition is opened until November for 8 months and 25 autonomous districts are participating in this league. This competition determines the final champion by opening tournaments between those districts. The event is composed soccer, 3:3 basketball and table tennis match. Seoul is receiving registration online from the 18th ~ 31st at www.sleague.or.kr. Age may be limited depending on the sports and every participating team must pay 10,000 ~50,000 won for the registration fee. Anyone above 60 who wishes to participate in the table tennis match, they can register through fax (02-380-8899 or through mail Seoul General Sports organization. 02-380-8822) In this Seoul Citizens' League, participants don't have to be a member of the General sports organization, but anyone from amateur clubs or even in families. No matter how small the team may be in a district league, "Full League System" is applied. This means all participating teams get the chance to play at least one time. Every sport adds up the total score and chooses a winning team and they are the ones to enter the final tournament. Especially, the final tournament and the champion game is held at sang Am World cup stadium where professional athletes hold their competition.
